I wanted to leave a review for Carolina Moving. I had a 100+ year old "heavy as a tank" Steinway piano to move over to my son's house. They did a fine job with no drama. More important, they charged a reasonable and appropriate price. I would use them again in a second. The other movers were attempting to charge more than twice this amount ... clearly trying to make score on us ... assuming we hadn't done any comparative shopping.
This was the most hectic move I've ever made. The team at Carolina Moving and Storage made this bearable. I've used moving companies in the past and realized that never would I ever use them again until I was stuck having to move in a hurry and balance between my hectic work schedule. I reached out to CM&S and the very same day as promised on time were a team of movers along with 2 huge truck ready to assist and make this huge move with me all with smiles and determination on their faces. I had already received a previous quote for the move and realized that it actually would cost so much more than my original quote from a separate company. They gave me tips and did everything in their power to reduce the price so that I would stay within my budget even sending out an extra crew with another truck to meet my time requirements and it doesn't get any better than that! They completely restored my faith in moving companies with their punctuality, professionalism, tidiness, accountability. I trust this company to make any of my future packing/unpacking, moving, and storage needs. The whole process was very easy. It was nice having Jonathan visit and provide an estimate. Ward was quick with responses to my email questions before moving day. Odell and Jarvis did a great job moving. Friendly and hard workers. So much better than trying to move myself. I highly recommend them.
